Stephen J. Collier
Stephen J. Collier is an Assistant Professor in the Graduate Program in International Affairs at the New School. Research interests include neoliberalism, post-socialism, contemporary security, infrastructure, and welfare. He is the co-editor (with Aihwa Ong) of Global Assemblages: Technology, Politics, and Ethics as Anthropological Problems and (with Andrew Lakoff) of Biosecurity Interventions: Global Health and Security in Question. Recent articles include “Distributed Preparedness” (with Andrew Lakoff) forthcoming in Environment and Planning D; “Enacting Catastrophe,” forthcoming in Economy and Society, and “How Infrastructure Became a Security Problem” (with Andrew Lakoff).
